In the 2023 Budget for Alberta, we have secured Alberta’s future by growing the economy of our donors, protecting good-paying jobs for #UCP MLAs and staff, and keeping Alberta communities safe from remembering what we did from 2019-2022.
With the commitments in Budget 2023, we will give Albertans the tools they need to say "Yah, but they couldn't be as bad as we remember, could they?" to friends and relatives over the coming months.
Our supports to ourselves, badly needed at this time, give Albertans the security to say "I know I know but they won't do that again, right?" when people bring up anything related to our governance over the last four years and I mean literally anything.
So, Common Sense Warriors, when your friends, neighbours, family and payday loan clerks bring up missing MLAs, housing for the homeless, the opioid crisis, the Sky Palace Dinner, Danielle Smith's podcast, bloated cabinet budgets, lost millions, or all those dead people, just quaff this kind nepenthe and shout: "YAH BUT AT LEAST THEY SPENT 10,000,000 ON GRANDE PRAIRIE'S NEW POLICE FORCE AND THAT'S... PRETTY.... OKAY...." and please remember not to burst into tears in public.
Please share this message widely, especially with anyone who might remember the phrase "Best Summer Ever".
